Unlike traditional string floss, each ProxySoft floss strand contains a special FlexYarn “sponge-like” section that most effectively sweeps out food particles and bacteria under bridges and between teeth with gaps. FlexYarn absorbs, then extracts more harmful bacteria and sticky plaque than brushing, waterpiks or traditional string floss. This thorough interdental cleaning process prevents infection which can lead to gum disease and gingivitis.
